Today I Choose To Be Happy: Viva Las Vegas

I have always wanted to go to Vegas. It had been on my bucket list for forever. This summer Kyle and his basketball team were playing in a tournament in Vegas and my family all decided to go with them on our little summer vacation. I NEVER want to go back!! It was horrible. The being with my family part was fun because we did lots of fun things and it was cool to watch Kyle play but besides that Vegas just isn't for me. I hated how hot it was. The heat makes me grumpy so i wasn't a huge fan of the 110 degree weather. The smoking everywhere was gross. I hated constantly smelling like smoke, it gave me a headache. And the gambling that was everywhere was making me so angry. I would see people blow so much money and fathers with families that would ignore their kids and wives because they wanted to win money. It made me sick to see. I was glad i got to go with my family and i think even gladder to be able to cross it off my bucket list. Not thinking ill be back to Vegas for a while.

So i kinda love this little cutie tons. Riding 10 hours in a car is brutal, but we made it. Us Garrard's finally took a road trip and had so much fun together! :]

Stopping in the middle of nowhere you have to take a picture and whats better than an fur beaver hat while being a beaver?

I had to have a picture in the casino to prove i was there but watch out. One day we were walking through and we stopped to talk about where we were going and about a minute later the cop was there telling us to keep moving or we would be fined $1000 for every minor. Yikes don't try to gamble underage.

Walking the strip was cool and probably my favorite stop was the M & M factory. Every color imaginable in M & M's. So cool!!

So the Thunder Down Under was showing in our hotel. I didn't quite get that it was not appropriate and wanted to go watch, because look at them. Who wouldn't want to go see those hot guys!? Well trust me we didn't go see it but i did get a picture by their poster.

My dad and Kyle are really big in watching Pawn Stars and so it was really cool to go see the pawn shop. It was really small and kinda gross but cool to see the stuff they sell and all the things they show on tv.

We spent alot of time at the pool getting our tan on. This is a gross picture but i loved getting to spend time with my mom. The pool felt amazing because it was so hot. I think we were in it more than laying out to get a tan since the sun was barbequing us!!

With three hungry boys you gotta eat lots.

We got to go to this awesome aquarium. That was probably my favorite part of Vegas!! There were so many fish and weird swimming things. It was so neat to see them all!
