The Perfect Day

Last Saturday couldn't have gotten any better.

It all started with getting a little more shut eye than normal. I love sleeping in... I actually just love sleeping period. Ky and Braden were up and going ready to go do old grow up people stuff like buying a lot for their house and getting a loan (so pumped for them:] ) so i decided i needed to be productive too. I was all ready to go on a nice run to the temple when adam came over and asked to join. Im not in the best of shape so i was a little worried i was going to make myself look like an idiot but it was ok. There is just something about being on the temple grounds. My attitude was instantly 100% nicer and i was just loveing life. Being outdoors on a beautiful day helped a ton too.

The Neighbors were feeling outdoorsy too and so we all headed over to the sand volleyball courts to play. (that has become one of our new favorite things to do, kinda replaced wacky 6 or something, but we are there alot). Not all of us are so great at volleyball but it was fun being outside getting a little exercise but mostly just spending time together as friends laughing and joking.

Adam is a real gem. He knew i really wanted to see the new Hunger Game movie so he surprised me and bought me tickets. We ended up doubling with Ky and Braden which was so much fun! I sure do love those two!!! We went to noodles and company (my first time ever!!!) and the food was delicious but the drinking fountain was legit! So many flavors to choose from, i could hang out there all day! The movie was awesome, i really enjoyed it!! Poor Adam was probably so sick of my commentating on every part since i had read all the books and he hasn't. He humored me though and acted like he cared... what a good sport! Ky and i got all domestic that afternoon and actually baked!! Weird i know! But we went home and tried some of our homemade Reese's chocolate chip cookie pie that we attempted and to be quite honest it wasn't too bad! I even think Braden and Adam enjoyed it so two thumbs up for us!!

The day was so relaxing and so fun i didn't want it to end!! What a perfect day!! :]

Spring Break

For spring break i didn't go to the Bahamas or anywhere too exciting but i did get to go home and that was pretty dang great! I'm kinda a home body and miss my family lots (sometimes i get homesick) and so i was really ready to go home to see them. I love having a family that no matter how much they bug you or you bug them, they will ALWAYS love you no matter what! I mostly just got to work at good ole AMI but i didn't mind i loved making money rather than spending it and you just cant top all the people that come in and the people i work with. ha some are some real gems and some are some real doozies!!

I was really glad to get to spend tons of time with this crazy lady!!! :]

And this even crazier lady!!

Even though i never left good ole Burley, my mom made sure i was a "world traveler" over the break...

I sure felt like i was in Mexico when my mom, dad, and i ate at the taco truck! Not going to lie it is one of my favorite places to eat and i love that it is some place special i share with my parents that we all enjoy together.

I sure felt like i was in New York wearing this fancy Statue of Liberty hats. Alright maybe they were just from the crazy tax people who were just trying to sell things but the hats were sure nice on ha!!

I have never been to the grand canyon but this canyon was sure grand when i saw it! Maybe it was just because i got the day off of work or it was spending the whole day just mom and me but it was a fun day in Twin shopping (ha even though i am a terrible shopper because i HATE it so much but it was still fun!)

Terin, Ridge and i tie died shirts to match and we look cute! I sure do love those crazy kids! I feel bad that before i left i took them for granted. I got a little impatient with them and maybe a little sick of them. Now i adore the love and attention they show me every second of every day that i am there!! What would i do without them!!??

Spring Break was sure great even though i spent it in good ole Burley Idaho!! :]

Just for a quick update since i haven't blogged in forever!!

This Valentines Day sure was special!!

Brin and i made matching tie die shirts with cute headbands! Definitely the cutest Valentines day girls ever!!

We decided to make cookies for our cute men in our life...
Lets just say its the thought that counts ok.

(They may not look all that appetizing but they didn't taste too bad!)
At least they got a cute poem to go along with the nice looking cookies! :]

Here is my darling Valentines date Adam! Hes such a good sport and puts up with alot ha! I'm sure one lucky girl! (He is actually opening his mission call this weekend yippee! I'm so proud of him!!)

We all went to watch the Vow and then after we were just a LITTLE bit hungry so we went to firehouse and ordered a 36" pizza. No big deal, Adam almost finished it off!

I recently got to cross an item off of my bucket list! I have always wanted to learn how to snowboard and when Brins cousin Ryan was here the last time he took us and patiently taught me how! I'm not a pro quite yet but ill keep working on it!  If anything I'm a pro at falling but i sure did have a blast!

Oh and did i mention...

KY'S ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited for her! They are darling and i just love that beautiful roommate of mine! She will make a beautiful bride and a wonderful wife! I'm so glad i got to be part of the engagement and even am lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids! June 22 cant get here fast enough cuz I'm so excited for them!! :]

We got to go around with ky on her scavenger hunt and help her get her clues. Id be lying if i said i didn't tear up just a little. Ha who am i kidding...
I bawled on the way to the ice skating rink (where Braden was waiting in a heart made of Christmas lights with 4000 rose petals waiting for her to say i do! I know precious right!!) I was just so excited and happy for her i just HAD to spill a few tears ha!! Love you Ky!

On Saturday the day before he popped the big question, Adam and i spent a good four hours at Braden's apartment helping him out! Look i got to cut out the letters for the puzzle! Braden went to a ton of work to make the perfect engagement... what a gem!! :]

Ky, Brin, and i also participated in a little church Basketball! We may have lost by a few points but it was still fun!!
