Missionaries, Conference, and Darling little boys!!

So i didn't think anything could top the perfect weekend i had last weekend, but boy was i proven wrong!Adam got his mission call on Wednesday and decided to wait until he went home over the weekend to open it. [I don't know how he did it because i was going crazy!!] He invited me to go with him so i could be there when he opened it and meet his family!

Friday drug on for forever it seemed!! Adam didn't really get nervous until Friday and i could kinda tell he was a little anxious to open it by the time we left though! The drive seemed like eight hours [could be the fact Adam's call was waiting patiently to be opened or it could be that i was SUPER nervous to meet his family for the first time!] I even made Adam stop before we got to his house so i could go the bathroom so i wouldn't throw up in front of his family. We got to his house sat down and it was game time. He got called to serve in the Dallas Texas mission Spanish speaking leaving July 11. And everyone should be so proud because Melanie did NOT cry! [I know a miracle!!]

Adam's family was so nice i love them so much! His darling nephew Caden walked right in and gave me a hug. Lucas snuggled with me while we watched a movie [and that's a big deal because Courtney says he NEVER snuggles]. Davon told me at dinner "Belony do you know that i like you so much!" Courtney made me feel so welcomed by talking to me and just being so nice. I loved her darling family i didn't want them to leave.

Adam and i got to spend a fabulous day in downtown Salt Lake. We tried to wake up early enough to make it to conference but we were a little late. We ended up watching it in the Tabernacle, which was still way cool. Walking around temple square was a great experience and i really enjoyed it. We went to the Gateway and then to the new City Creek mall. Adam wanted to crack out his fishing pole and just fish for the trout running down the stream. I wouldn't let him ha but we still had fun just spending time together. I bought a way cute Jazz shirt that i am pumped to wear. We tried to take a few cute pictures but the dang wind got in the way. Oh well a few turned out ok.

Adam left to go to the priesthood session and i was a little nervous to be left home alone but it honestly wasn't bad at all. His mom and sister and sisters in laws were really nice and i loved the little boys that the two hours flew by. All the adults left to go see Adam's new baby nephew Stockton who is still in the hospital so we stayed to baby sit. Those boys were just so darling.

Watching conference with his family on Sunday and taking a nap was so relaxing i didn't want to leave to have to come back to school. His family was so welcoming and nice and i was so lucky to get to spend the weekend with them! What a great weekend! :]
