I thought saying good bye at the end of school was hard... Let me just tell ya that was nothing compared to saying good bye for two years!! I'm so proud of Adam though, hes going to make an amazing missionary. The people in Texas are sure lucky!
I got to go down to visit him a few days before his farewell so we could spend a little time together before he leaves. It was honestly one of the funnest weekends of my life!! We did so many fun things and just being with him and his family was amazing.
All his stuff ready to go!
On Friday he took me on a date to Lagoon. This was one of my all time favorite dates ever! It was quite hot but it didn't matter. We laughed and giggled and screamed and just enjoyed the day together. He sure spoiled me!!
I was kinda nervous to ride the Rocket as you can tell but it ended up being one of my very favorite rides ever, i even went back a second time to do it again!
We then rode the Ferris wheel as it was getting darker. That kinda freaked me out being up so high since i am afraid of heights but it was sure fun! What a great day!
On Saturday, Adam and i went with all his family to the Hogle Zoo. That was so fun with his nephews who are absolutely adorable. My favorite was the bird show and i wasn't a huge fan of the reptile house, it kinda freaked me out.
That night, Adam's mom, Jill, and I put Bethanie's (his sister) hair in these curler things for the farewell the next morning. She looked like a total hottie when we were finished! I sure love B tons. Taking them out the next morning was an adventure. The first curl was about two inches long. It was the tightest tiniest curl i have ever seen. We laughed so hard. We got them all out and relaxed and loosened and it looked really cute! It sure made for a funny morning.
This is probably one of my favorite pictures ever! Sure going to miss this cute guy but i know he is where he needs to be and that makes me happy! Thanks for all the wonderful times over the last six months Elder Talbot!! See ya in two!
